To sync Airbnb with Booking.com, you copy each site's calendar link and paste it into the other. Airbnb's link goes into Booking.com's calendar import, and Booking.com's link goes into Airbnb's. Do both directions, or only one site will know about the other's bookings.
The menu names below come from each site's own help pages as of September 2026. Both sites change their menus from time to time; links to the official instructions are at the end.
Before you start
- You need to be signed in as the host on Airbnb and as a partner on the Booking.com extranet.
- Booking.com only offers calendar sync if your property has 20 room types or fewer, with one unit per room type. If a room type has several identical units, it cannot be synced by calendar link.
- Do this once for each listing. A villa with two units on each site needs two pairs of links.
Step 1: copy your Airbnb calendar link
- On Airbnb, click Calendar and select the listing.
- Click Availability.
- Under Connect calendars, click Connect to another website.
- Copy the Airbnb calendar link. It ends in .ics.
Step 2: import it into Booking.com
- Sign in to the Booking.com extranet and click Calendar.
- Click Import calendar.
- Paste the Airbnb link and save.
Airbnb bookings will now block those dates on Booking.com, once Booking.com next reads the link.
Step 3: copy your Booking.com calendar link
- In the extranet, go back to Calendar.
- Click Export calendar.
- Click Copy link.
Step 4: import it into Airbnb
- On Airbnb, open Calendar, select the listing, and click Availability.
- Under Connect calendars, click Connect to another website.
- Paste the Booking.com link into the calendar address field.
- Give it a name you will recognise, such as "Booking.com", and click Add calendar.
Check that it works
Block one night far in the future on Booking.com, then look for it on Airbnb after the next update. Airbnb says imported calendars update every 3 hours. You can refresh manually, but Airbnb limits how often. Once you have seen the block arrive, remove it.
Airbnb also notes that nights you block on another calendar "may or may not" be blocked on Airbnb, so rely on synced bookings, not on hand-made blocks on the other site.
If you also list on Agoda
Every site you add needs a link to and from every other site: three sites means six links. That is where a channel manager saves real effort. UpaKwarto takes one link from each site and gives each site back one combined link, so Airbnb, Booking.com and Agoda each see the bookings from the other two. See How to avoid double bookings on Airbnb, Booking.com and Agoda for the full picture.
