Agoda's calendar links are in the Partner Portal, under Calendar, then Calendar connections. From there you can copy Agoda's link to paste into other sites, and paste some sites' links in so Agoda blocks their bookings. It only works for room types with exactly one room.
The part that catches people out: Agoda accepts incoming calendar links only from sites on its own partner list. Paste a link from anywhere else and the form answers "Please enter a valid link" before it even tries to read it.
If you have used Agoda for a while, you may know the Partner Portal as YCS. The menu names below are from Agoda's own help page as of September 2026.
Who can use it
Agoda offers calendar connections only for room types where the number of rooms is 1. If your listing is "Deluxe Room" with four identical rooms, it cannot be connected by calendar link.
Agoda also warns that if you later change a connected room type from 1 room to several, the connection may switch off automatically. Check your connections after changing room counts.
Export: give other sites your Agoda calendar
- Sign in to the Agoda Partner Portal.
- If you manage several properties, select the property from Listings.
- Go to Calendar, then Calendar connections.
- Find the room type and click Copy calendar link.
- Paste that link into the other site's calendar import. On Airbnb, that is Calendar, then Availability, then Connect to another website.
Import: let Agoda see other sites' bookings
This works for the sites Agoda itself names — Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia and Vrbo. For anything else, see the next section before you spend time on it.
- Copy the calendar link from the other site. It usually ends in .ics.
- In the Partner Portal, go to Calendar, then Calendar connections.
- Paste the link into the Other website link field for the room type.
- Name the connection so you can tell it apart, for example "Airbnb".
- Click Import.
How often Agoda updates
Agoda says calendar connections refresh automatically several times a day, and the Calendar connections page shows when each one last refreshed. You can also click Refresh connections to update them all at once.
That means a booking made elsewhere can take hours to reach Agoda. On busy dates, that is enough time for a double booking. Why calendar sync can still double-book you covers how to narrow the gap.
The links Agoda will not accept
Agoda's Other website link field rejects calendars from sites that are not on its partner list, including channel managers. The error is "Please enter a valid link", and it appears the moment you paste, without Agoda ever fetching the calendar. Other channel managers document the same refusal.
That makes Agoda one-way for most hosts:
- Agoda to you: works. Your Agoda bookings reach your other calendars normally.
- You to Agoda: blocked. A booking taken on Airbnb, on Booking.com or directly will not close those dates on Agoda by itself.
So the nights you sold elsewhere stay on sale on Agoda until you do something. Three options, in the order we would try them:
- Close the dates on Agoda yourself as soon as a booking arrives from anywhere else. Tedious, and it is the one thing that always works.
- Chain through a site Agoda does accept. Airbnb takes a calendar link from anywhere, and Agoda takes Airbnb's link. Whether the dates then travel the whole way depends on Airbnb re-exporting what it imported, which Airbnb does not document. Test it with one date before trusting it.
- Keep Agoda for dates nothing else sells. Some hosts give Agoda a fixed set of rooms or dates, so there is nothing to keep in step.
Connecting Agoda through UpaKwarto
In UpaKwarto, go to Channels, click Add a channel, and choose Agoda. Then map each unit to its Agoda room type and paste in Agoda's calendar link. That half works: Agoda bookings appear on your calendar within minutes and close those dates on your other sites.
UpaKwarto also shows a link for each room type, which is what other sites import. Agoda will refuse it, for the reason above, and the Channels page says so on the Agoda listing. Removing that refusal needs Agoda to accept us as a connectivity partner, which is an application to them, not a setting either of us can change.
