In the Booking.com extranet, open Calendar. Use Export calendar to copy Booking.com's link into other sites, and Import calendar to paste their links in so Booking.com blocks their bookings. It works for properties with up to 20 room types and one unit per room type.
The steps below follow Booking.com's partner help as of September 2026. Booking.com changes the extranet from time to time, so if a button has moved, check the official page linked at the end.
Check you are eligible first
Booking.com's calendar sync is not available for every property. To import or export calendars, your property needs:
- 20 room types or fewer, and
- at most one unit per room type.
A guesthouse selling "Standard Double" with six identical rooms under one room type cannot sync that room type by calendar link. Neither can a dorm sold by the bed. For those, see Running a hostel dorm on several booking sites.
Export: give other sites your Booking.com calendar
- Sign in to the Booking.com extranet.
- Click Calendar.
- Click Export calendar.
- Click Copy link.
- Paste the link into the other site's calendar import, such as Airbnb's Connect to another website.
Import: let Booking.com see other sites' bookings
- Copy the calendar link from the other site. It usually ends in .ics.
- In the extranet, click Calendar.
- Click Import calendar.
- Paste the link and save.
Do this for each room type you sell elsewhere.
It is not real time
Booking.com says plainly that calendars are not synced in real time: a reservation on another platform will not appear on Booking.com instantly, and the other way round. Until the next update, a second guest can book the same night. Why calendar sync can still double-book you explains the gap and how to narrow it.
Using UpaKwarto in the middle
If you list on Booking.com and at least one other site, you can connect each site to UpaKwarto instead of to each other. In UpaKwarto, go to Channels, click Add a channel, choose Booking.com, map each unit to its room type, and paste in Booking.com's export link. UpaKwarto then gives you one link per room type to paste into Import calendar, carrying bookings from every other site you use.
